The Church of San Vicente is considered the most interesting church in San Sebastian. Dating from the early 16th Century, this sandstone building is similar to a fortress. Inside is a large retable with many biblical scenes, and there is a gallery with a large, impressive organ. Outside the south door is Jorge Oteiza`s modern Pieta.
