The Church of Santa Catalina in the pretty village of Sayalonga was built in the 16th Century on the site of a mosque. It has an octagonal tower in the Mudejar style and inside is an 18th Century statue of the Virgen del Rosario. Nearby is the Ermita of San Cayetano. The narrow street of La Alcuza leads off the square. In places it is only about two feet wide.
