The Iglesia de Santo Domingo is a very noticeable church because of its splendid, imposing gateway. The church dates from the 16th Century and it has a Renaissance facade with an impressive interior of ornate vaulting and beautiful side chapels. There are some fine retablos including one created in the 18th Century by Pedro de Asensio. The Descent from the Cross is the work of Jacob Jordaens.
