The Iglesia de San Francisco was once part of the Franciscan Monastery of San Pedro de Alcantara. Built in 1680, it is said to have been founded by Irish Catholics. The church was restored and enlarged in the 18th Century and it has two naves as well as a chapel with a Moorish ceiling. Of interest are the beautiful Baroque altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries.
