The Convent of Santo Domingo was founded in the late 17th Century by Captain Rodriguez Carrasca. Inside are two naves separated by four arches with red and black stonework. In the original chapel are two altarpieces, one dedicated to Our Lady of Grace and the other to the Virgin of Rosario, the Dominican order`s patron saint. There are some murals. This interesting, historical building is now used for contemporary art exhibitions.
