Corumbela is an ancient village with narrow streets and it is situated on the top of a hill. From here are magnificent views of the Natural Park of Tejeda. The settlement is said to have been founded by the Iberians and it was given by the Catholic Monarchs to Diego Fernandez de Cordoba for his services in the Reconquest. Since the mid 19th Century it has been joined to Sayalonga and an interesting walk links the villages. Look out for the watermill and the Three Fountains.
