This large, traditional market is an atmospheric place where you can buy fresh Galician food such as vegetables, fruit, pulses, cheese, seafood and meat. You can also purchase honey, confections, wines and liquers. A visit should not be missed. There has been a market here for over three centuries but the present building dates from the 1950s when an old building was demolished.
