The Ermita de San Baudelio is a remarkably well preserved chapel that was built in the early 11th Century, and it is a fine example of Mozarabic architecture. It has an horseshoe arched doorway whilst in the centre of the nave stands a pillar with branches evocative of a palm grove. Many of its frescoes have been removed but some remain, including bulls and hunting scenes. Below the chapel is the cave where the hermit San Baudelio lived.
