Quejana was a very important place in medieval times and in the 14th Century a convent of Dominican nuns was founded here. This is the centre of the Quejana Historical Complex and inside the Church of San Juan are the relics of the Virgen del Cabell. Also of interest is the altarpiece and three tombs of the Ayala family. Visitors can also find out about 14th Century military matters in the Ayala mansion as well as the history of the Ayala family.
