The Hoces del Rio Duraton Natural Park is an area of gorges between Sepulveda and Burgomillodo. Some of the canyons have walls over one hundred metres high. About five hundred pairs of griffon vultures breed here and there are also Egyptian vultures, golden eagles and peregrine falcons. It is a good area for walking and cycling. An excellent short walk, from where you can see griffon vultures, is the Senda de Los Dos Rios which starts in Sepulveda.
