The Church of Nuestra Senora de los Angeles was built in the 13th Century at the end of the Romanesque period. It has two Romanesque doors and inside are Gothic aisles and vaulting. There is a reclining Renaissance statue of the Inquisitor Corro who was born here in the 15th Century. From near the church, which is on top of a hill, you can enjoy superb views of the estuary.
