Lebrija is a pretty, old town with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside with its many vineyards. The streets are lined with orange trees and palms whilst the picturesque houses have wrought-iron grilles on the balconies. The parish church was originally a mosque. It has a Gothic portal and a high bell tower and inside are many Islamic features. Of special interest is the retablo by Alonso Cano. Above the church is a ruined castle.
