The Mercado Nuestra Senora de Africa is a large market hall built in the early 1950s in the North African style. Here you will find flowers, fruit, vegetables, herbs, honey and cheeses made with cows` sheep`s and goats` milk as well as stalls selling meat and fish. In the surrounding streets are stalls selling kitchenware and fabrics. The market is closed on Sundays but outside the hall traders set up a large craft and flea market.
