The Museo del Castilo de la Fortaleza is housed in a modern, pseudo castle complete with turrets and battlements. This private collection contains many pre-Hispanic artefacts such as pottery, tools, funerary clothes and even skeletons. There are also rocks, stuffed birds, fish, butterflies and pressed flowers. Other displays include a military room with guns, a typical 17th Century bedroom and an art gallery.
