The Museu Cau Ferrat was the home and studio of the painter and collector Santiago Rusinol. He bought two 16th Century fisherman`s cottages and renovated them, adding Gothic features. He bequeathed large parts of his collections, and the museum opened to the public in 1932. The house itself is of interest, and has some beautiful ceramics. Exhibits include porcelain and paintings, some by himself and a few by Picasso and El Greco. Rusinol collected wrought-iron pieces which range from keys to town boundary crosses.
