The Museo de Segovia is a provincial museum devoted to archaeology and the fine arts. It dates from the mid 19th Century and contains prehistoric engravings, Roman mosaics and coins. The many artefacts include tools, pottery and metalwork from many periods. There are Visigothic enamels and not to be missed are the two large Celtic stone bulls which were discovered during excavation in Segovia. Other exhibits include crystal and glass as well as religious sculpture.
