Placa d`Espanya is an attractive square with palm trees and benches in the centre of Santa Eularia des Riu. On the north side of the square is the 18th Century Town Hall. Near it is a monument erected in honour of local seafarers who rescued those on the steamboat Mallorca when it struck a rock offshore in 1913. Below the square is Passeig de S`Alamera with its trees, shrubs and market stalls.
