Playa de las Teresitas is a large, artificial beach adjacent to the fishing village of San Andres. The beach consists of golden sand that was imported from the Sahara and, with a backdrop of the Anaga mountains, it is in a beautiful setting. Protected by a breakwater that eliminates waves, the beach has shallow waters. Palm trees offer shade and there are many facilities, including showers and bars. San Andres has several restaurants.
