Puerta del Cambron

The Puerta del Cambron is a gate that was originally built in Visigothic times. A court had been established in Toledo in the sixth Century by the king of the Visigoths. The gate was part of the perimeter of Toledo. It was rebuilt in the late 16th Century and its present structure is Renaissance in style. Above the arch is an impressive coat of arms whilst spires top the small towers.
