The Real Maestranza is the name for the Seville bullring, the most important in Spain together with the Madrid bullring. It was built over a period of 120 years, and started in 1730. Its shape is not fully round, and there is a chapel and a museum inside, inaugurated in 1989, detailing the world of bullfighting and its history. The bullring’s main activity is held during the famous Seville April fair, celebrating the most important bullfights. Real Maestranza is the noble association that owns the bullring and gives its name to it.
