The Roman Bathhouse of Las Bovedas consists of seven chambers which were built around a patio above a central bath. There was an upper floor with smaller rooms and the ruin dates back to the 3rd Century. It was discovered in the 1920s. Although the remains are almost certainly a bathhouse, there is a theory that the building was used as storage tanks for water carried from a nearby aqueduct.
