Playa de Roses is over one mile long and is separated into three sections by streams. It is a wide beach, with fine sand, and is popular with families. There are good facilities including a lifeguard, a children`s play area, restaurants and ice cream kiosks. Sun loungers, parasols and pedal boats can be hired. Also near the town is the smaller La Punta beach which is close to the fishing port and is ideal for families.
