Sa Riera Park is a fascinating park about half a mile from the centre of Tossa De Mar. Here is a Mediterranean forest of holm oak trees as well as deciduous trees. There is a lake with reeds and water lilies containing fish, frogs and water tortoise. Ducks, herons and kingfishers may be seen. The park is a starting place for walks ranging from short coastal walks to long walks going to the Hermitage of Sant Grau and mountain peaks.
