The little town of Sant Josep de sa Talaia lies at the foot of Sa Talaiassa, the highest point on the island. A marked trail indicates the way to the top of the 475 metres high peak. The mountain is thickly wooded with pine trees but on the route are great views of the west coast of Ibiza. On very clear days it is possible to see mainland Spain.
