The Benedictine Monastery of San Martin Pinario is one of the largest religious buildings in Spain. The facade overlooking the square has massive Doric columns. Inside the church is a single nave with barrel vaulting. The early 18th Century high altar retable is in the Churrigueresque style and there are other highly decorated retables in the side chapels. The museum contains an old pharmacy and there ia also a multi-media exhibition about Galacia.
