Sant Tomas has a long, sandy beach separated by headlands from the beach of Son Bou. It is about two miles long and slopes gently, but there are sometimes dangerous currents, so take heed of the warning flags. The sand of the beach has been imported as a storm took away all the original sand in 1989. Windsurfing boards, pedalos and other beach equipment are available for hire.
