Sitges has many beaches of fine sand and most of them have lifeguards. Usually sun loungers and sun shades can be hired and there are first aid posts and showers at the busy beaches. Drinks and ice creams can be bought and they are usually close to restaurants. The Platja de l`Estanyal has access for the handicapped and changing rooms. At this beach and the Platja de Garraf canoes can be hired.
