Sotogrande is a marina complex at the heart of an area famed for its golf tournaments and polo matches. There are four exclusive golf courses, including Valderrama,and there is a permanent polo field with matches in the summer months. Polo has been played at Sotogrande since the mid 1980s and teams have trained here during the winter season. Courses are available for beginners.
