The Plaza Teresa de Bolivar is a lovely, small garden square near the Plaza del Pino. Built in the early 1950s, it is dedicated to Teresa de Bolivar who was the wife of Simon de Bolivar, the South American revolutionary. The square commemorates Teresa`s link with the town as her family came from Teror. On Sunday mornings Teror holds a market with stalls of traditional arts and crafts.
