Torre d`en Galmes is a large, prehistoric settlement with well preserved Talaiotic buildings. This atmospheric site dates from about 1400 BC and there are three talaiots. These are large, circular buildings used as homes or watchtowers. The site also has a taula, a T shaped monument thought to have been used for religious ceremonies. Its horizontal stone has collapsed. Other interesting structures include a water storage system which may date from Roman times.
