The University is famous for its splendid 16th Century entrance facade and decorative sculptures representing mythical and religious scenes. Above the twin door is a medallion of the Christian Monarchs, and to the far right are three skulls and a famous frog that everybody tries to spot. On the next level is the Order of the Golden Fleece and above these are Venus and Hercules flanking the pope. The lecture rooms are located around the courtyard.
