The Archaeology Museum of Vitoria - Gasteiz is housed in a timber and brick house that dates from the 16th Century. The collection is on three floors and consists of finds from the excavations that have taken place in Alava province. Displays range from Palaeolitic to medieval times and exhibits include a collection of dolmens from 4,000 years ago as well as Roman steles and sculptures. Do not miss the tombstone known as the Knight`s Stele.
