Benicarlo has several beaches and it is a diving centre. Near the port is the Blue Flag Morrongo Beach which is composed of fine, golden sand. It has a lifeguard and a Red Cross point. The beach also has access for those with reduced mobility and there is a promenade. You will also find an area for sports and a children`s playground. Another beach is Mar Xica which is covered in shingle but it is in a quiet location.
