The Church of San Feliu is a beautiful, ancient church sitting below the walls of Xativia Castle, and it is on the site of an earlier church. Dating from 1269, it was built after the town had been taken from the Moors. Inside are fine capitals and religious paintings. There is a magnificent retablo with scenes from the life of Christ as well as the Virgin. On the holy water stoup are carvings from the Nativity.
