The Visigothic Church of San Pedro de la Nave was relocated to its present site in 1930 because it would have been submerged on its old site when the River Esla was dammed. The church was originally built in the 7th Century and it is a rare example of its period. There are outstanding capitals depicting scenes from the Bible such as Daniel in the lion`s den and the Sacrifice of Issac.
