The Iglesia de Santa Catalina is known for its magnificent 17th Century Baroque tower which is a local landmark. The church was built after the Reconquest in the 13th Century on the site of a former mosque and it is one of the oldest churches in Valencia. It was refurbished in the 18th Century. Inside are three naves and high stone vaults in the Gothic style.
