The Church of Santiago is a handsome Renaissance church with a bell tower. It was built between the 14th and 17th centuries. Inside are three naves with unusual, tapering, spiral columns supporting the Gothic vaulting. Do not miss the ornate baptismal font, which is in the Renaissance style. It was carved by Jacopo Florentino, who worked with Michelangelo and eventually settled in Villena.
