The Islas Cies are an archipelago of three islands known for their beautiful beaches and wildlife. Since 1980 the islands have been a nature reserve but they can be visited by passenger ferry during the summer months. Rodas Beach is the largest beach and it links Monta Agudo Island with O Faro. There are several walking trails. The islands are home to many species of birds including storm petrel, gannet, peregrine falcon and a large colony of yellow legged gulls.
