The Colegiata de la Candelaria is a fine 16th Century church and it is a combination of Gothic and Renaissance styles. Standing in the lovely arcaded square of Plaza Grande, it has a large red brick belfry. Inside are three reredos. In the south transept are nine panels in a retablo that were painted by Zurbaran in 1644. There is also a chapel by Churriguera.
