The main landmark of Valencia`s old quarter is El Miguelete, the bell tower of Valencia Cathedral, located in Plaza de la Reina. This octagonal tower, which is over 200 feet high, was built between 1380 and 1420. The tower is open to visitors, and a climb up the many steps of the spiral staircase to the top balcony is rewarded with panoramic views of the city.
