Situated near the Parc de Capcalera, the History Museum is housed in a 19th Century water station that used to provide the citizens of Valencia with their water supply. In this atmospheric, labyrinthic building, displays tell the story of Valencia`s history, starting with its Roman foundations, and following on with further events through the centuries to the late 20th Century. The everyday life of the ordinary inhabitants is explored in the language of the visitor`s choice.
