The Monasterio de Sancti Espiritas was founded in the early 14th Century and it has a beautiful Mudejar and Romanesque church. Inside is the highly decorated alabaster tomb of the Dona Beatriz of Portugal, wife of Juan 1. There is a fine Mudejar ceiling above the high altar. In the museum are religious paintings and sculptures. You can also see Flemish tapestries and silver reliquaries. The 16th Century cloister has four galleries supported by almost fifty columns.
