Bermeo is a fishing town and its fleet is one of the largest in the area. The Museo del Pescador is housed in a 15th Century tower near the harbour. It is devoted to the local fishing industry and tells the history of the ports along the Basque coast. Exhibits include tools and information about marine life. Bermeo is an attractive place to wander through with its narrow, cobbled streets.
