The Museo Zuloaga was the home of the Basque painter Ignacio Zuloaga who was born in 1870. He became famous for his strong colours and expressive portraits. The museum contains many of Zuloaga`s paintings as well as his personal collection of works by other artists. These include paintings by Goya, El Greco, Morales and Zurbaran. The museum is about twenty minutes walk from the centre of the seaside resort of Zumaia.
