The Museum of Religious Art is located in the new neo-Gothic cathedral, the Maria Inmaculada Cathedral, which was completed in 1973. In the museum are works belonging to the Diocese of Vitoria. The exhibits of religious art are in various mediums, including silver and wood, and range from pre-Romanesque to Baroque.There are Flemish and Gothic works, canvases by El Greco, Ribera and Alonso Cano, and a large collection of silverware.
