The Church of Our Lady of Fatima was built in the mid 20th Century and it has a splendid tower. The most interesting feature of the church is a mosaic on the altar. It is by Santiago Padros y Elias and depicts the mystical events of the Cova de Iria. In the centre is an image of the Virgin as she appeared in 1917 and on one side is the angel seen by the three shepherds before the event. Below are people watching and above is an image of the dance of the sun.
