Valencia`s Prehistory Museum displays a collection of archaeological finds ranging from reproductions of cave paintings to 4th Century Iberian art. The museum is housed in a former 19th Century hospital built on the site of a convent. There are cave paintings from Palaeolithic times as well as a number of Bronze Age finds and some Roman items such as coins found in Valencia. The museum also holds temporary exhibitions.
