The Museo del Arroz is in an old mill that was established about 1900. For some years it was out of use, but it has now been renovated and the machinery is in working order again. Rice was first grown in the area about 1000 years ago and exhibits explain the history of its cultivation, harvesting and processing from the separation of the husk from the grain to its packaging.
