The San Vicent Crypt is a small Visigothic burial chapel and at this archaeological site there is an audio-visual presentation telling the story of San Vicent and the chapel. The saint was martyred in AD 304 by the Romans because he would not renounce his Christian faith. For hundreds of years, before the Arabs occupied Valencia, his burial place was visited by pilgrims. The sarcophagus was discovered in the 19th Century. Other archaeological finds are on display.
