Fernando 1l of Aragon was born in the Palacio de Sada in Sos del Catolico in 1452. He married Isabel of Castile, uniting Spain. The large mansion is one of many interesting buildings that can be seen in the village. There is a ruined castle and the Church of San Esteban has 13th Century wall paintings in the crypt.
